PCR recruited and trained a dozen citizen scientists to operate low-cost air monitoring equipment, conduct air monitoring and analyze the data. Empowered with new skills and trusted information. Knowledge gained on this project enabled PCR to be on a more level playing field with the City when discussing issues within the community related to air quality.
